ADVENT ASSEMBLY
29th Nov 2019
Our P7 pupils led an outstanding Advent Assembly this afternoon. They explained to all present the meaning of Advent and why it is a special time in the church calendar. They demonstrated how to make an advent wreath and explained the symbolism of the 5 coloured candles. We now have a beautiful wreath displayed in school. Their singing of ‘Silent Night’ and ‘In The Bleak Mid Winter’ was both moving and seasonal. Well done P7, we are lucky to have such a mature and responsible group of children, as role models for the younger classes.
