Our indoor camogie team represented took part in the All county Camogie Finals at Meadowbank Arena today.
The girls played excellent camogie going unbeaten in the group stages. They progressed to the semi-finals where they played St Patrick's and St Joseph's Glenullin. This was a thrilling game which went to extra time with our girls eventually coming out on top. They were then to face St Mary's Gortnaghey in the final this was yet another hard fought game but Gortnaghy managed to reverse the result form the group stage and were crowned Derry Champions.
I would like to commend the girls on their hard work and commitment to their camogie they may feel disappointed today we are very proud of them and there will be many more opportunities to play this year.
