We had a very enjoyable day at the Castle Cup, as always very well organised by St. Patrick’s College, Maghera. We were delighted to be able to enter 3 teams this year who represented the school brilliantly, giving our younger pupils great experience for next year. We had 2 teams qualify unbeaten from the group stages, and the third team narrowly missed out on qualification. Our Ulster Bank Cup team were defeated in the Quarter Final by Tirkane in what was a very competitive game. Our shield team were defeated in the Semi-Finals by a strong Knocknagin team.
Well done to everyone involved today in what was a great day of football!
