Thursday 12th March is our Feet First For School Day when we ask our pupils and their families to walk to school.
It is important to note that the school carpark will be closed on that morning so there will be no facility to dive through and drop pupils off.
There will be four designated meeting points in the town where pupils and their families can meet and walk to school together with members of staff.
The meeting points are as follows;
Car Park at the bottom of Fair Hill
Maghera Leisure Centre
The Glen Centre
Maghera Library.
We will leave these meeting points at 8.45am and we would ask pupils to wear Hi Viz clothing.
Pupils will assemble in the carpark on their arrival at school where we will have a short exercise session before going to the hall for a brief assembly and a fruit snack which has been kindly sponsored by Kelly's Eurospar.
We look forward to seeing everyone putting their best foot forward and walking to school on Thursday and perhaps it will become a regular habit!
