Every year at the beginning of June, all of the P7 children in the Diocese come together at Celtic Park in Derry for the Fan the Flame Mass. It is always an excellent day.
This year Bishop McKeown will celebrate the Mass at 10am in St. Eugene’s Cathedral on Thursday 4th June through the Cathedral webcam.
The Y7 children around the Diocese usually design their own Fan the Flame t-shirt and wear it throughout the Mass at Celtic Park. This year our children could still design their own t-shirts if they wish and wear them during the Mass on Thursday 4th June. Examples of the t-shirts can be found in the image below.
We have put together some Fan the Flame resources, activities and prayers that the children can look at and complete leading up to Mass on Thursday. They can be accessed below.
