Primary 7 enjoyed a brilliant day at The O’Neill and Ranfurly House and Dungannon Library today. We took a step back in history to famine times and experienced the harsh reality of life in the Workhouse under the stern eye of Mrs McKinley. We then had the opportunity to carry out research on the Irish famine and the workhouses of the time in Dungannon library. A truly memorable day bringing history to life.
