It is a Catholic tradition to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary during May, with Churches and homes erecting a May Altar with a statue of Mary, flowers, a candle and a picture of Mary.
Archbishop Eamon Martin has welcomed Pope Francis` new pastoral letter to the faithful, and two new Rosary prayers, in honour of Our Lady for the month of May.
